Becoming a Member

​Endtime Rescue International Church is a Rescue Center.  Salvation for all is the core value of our church and we believe that receiving a New Spiritual Birth known as being Born Again is an essential part of equipping individuals for the end times.

To become a member of ERIC one must be:

​

• Born Again

Being born again suggests a new birth such as the Lord Jesus Christ explained to Nicodemus when he asked the question— how can one be born again? This new birth is reflected in His answer: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again. "This demonstrated that Jesus was not talking about a physical rebirth (flesh) but a spiritual rebirth.

• Become Water Baptized

Baptism is the first ordinance of the gospel. One of the instructions the Lord gave His Apostles was, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19–20).

 

We Must Repent and Be Baptized for the Remission of Our Sins. When we place our faith in Jesus Christ, repent, and are baptized, our sins are forgiven through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

 

Immersion in water depicts the death of Jesus Christ dying for our sins. Rising from the water portrays Jesus' resurrection in which He conquered sin and death. Thus, being baptized by immersion, the believer visually shows the spiritual death, burial, and resurrection of the believer's life.

 

• Complete the Membership Class.

The Membership Class lays a solid, biblical foundation for spiritual nourishment and growth. The class is designed for both new and mature and works through the systematic teaching of the Word of God, so each one may understand his or her position in Christ to become a functioning member of the body. Classes are allotted for one hour on designated dates as per scheduled sessions.
